• July 2008 - Participant in Çudamani's Gamelan Music & Dance Summer Institute in Pengosekan, Bali, Indonesia, a three-week, intensive study of Balinese gamelan and dance. This trip was made possible, in part, by a Travel Grant from the Canada Council for the Arts. Please click here for photos of my time there.

• Sept. 25, 2008 - Artist participant/commentator in the workshop entitled "Synesthesia: Art and the Mind" at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

• October 2008 - CD Release by Rei Hotoda, pianist and assistant conductor of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, entitled Apparitions, to include "Prayer" from my Glimpses for prepared piano. On the Signpost Music label, based in Winnipeg, Canada.
